Felix Gerlach is the co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Passbase, a privacy focused identity infrastructure company. Launched in 2018, Passbase has since raised over $17 million in funding from Cowboy Ventures, Eniac & Lakestar with offices in Berlin and New York.
Prior to Passbase, Felix worked in leading product roles in multiple startups around the world including San Francisco, London as well as for Rocket Internet in Singapore & Bangkok. He was a guest-lecturer at Stanford CSP and brings in deep experience in growth-driven product design. Together with his co-founders, Felix was featured on the Forbes 30 under 30 Europe Finance list.

Albert Saniger, Founder & CEO of nate, on creating the first universal shopping app & the new social age of ecommerce

Albert Saniger is the founder and CEO at nate, the first app with the technology to enable mobile checkout on behalf of a user for any item at any online retailer. Albert worked briefly on Amazon’s Fashion Retail platform and in 2018 founded nate with a mission to simplify and transform the online shopping experience into a social one. By April 2020, nate had closed the largest series seed round for a consumer software company of the year and launched to the public that summer.

We sat down with Kevin Gosschalk, founder and CEO of Arkose Labs, to discuss the significant rise of credential stuffing attacks especially during COVID19. Although ransomware is generally the hottest topic in cybercrime, COVID19 has fueled the new trend in credential stuffing attacks which is taking a serious toll on businesses across the world. Credential stuffing attacks are predicted to overtake ransomware in 2022. Arkose Labs alone detected 285 million of such attacks in the first 6 months of the year and the FBI estimated an average cost of £4million each year. Arkose Labs is working hard to combat this problem with the industry's first $1m Credential Stuffing Warranty and an AI Fraud Prevention platform.

Prior to founding Arkose Labs he worked in biomedical research where he used machine vision technology for early detection of diabetes. He later developed technology that assisted adults with intellectual differences in social settings. His unique background has enabled him to take this disruptive approach that gamifies fraud prevention. Kevin has been named CEO of the year by Cyber Defense Magazine and is regarded as an expert in the fraud and risk management industry.
